Originally built for Union Pacific, later sold to CEFX and now earning its keep for Norfolk Southern. The 'snoot' style nose is very distinguishable in this view of NS #3460.
NS SD40-2 with snoot nose was captured in Chattanooga when Casey Thomason and I were photographing the NS/ Monongahela ES44AC Heritage loco. NS acquired the former UP SD40-2 from CEFX.
